The annual Kirkwood High School athletic signing ceremony took place in David Holley Assembly Hall Friday, Feb 7. There were a total of 15 seniors present at the signing, not including senior Jay Maclin, who has already begun his athletic career at University of Missouri at Columbia (Mizzou).

“I’m happy for [the athletes] but the emotional piece is that they are leaving our family here [at KHS],” Brad Sutterer, assistant athletics director, said. “We consider all of our players family whether they sign or not. When it’s finally over, its bittersweet tears of sorrow because our journey is over.”
